It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: First session Remi worked on her drops. She did quite well today respond to just the hand signal and verbal cue. She can be a bit cheeky with her duration and pop up before her release word. We worked on building her duration while the trainer slowly moved around her. Keep working on this at home gradually increasing distractions as she becomes more reliable. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Remi’s second session we worked on her bye bye trick. We are still holding our hand out and as she moves her paw towards it marking yes and moving our hand away before she makes contact. Over the course of the session she becomes quite consistent in this so we begin waving instead of offering our hand and rewarding when she starts to raise her paw. She isn’t fully reliable with the hand signal and we have to swap between the two methods but practise makes perfect! This link shows videos and step by steps on how to train the trick as well as so many others you may like to try at home! https://domorewithyourdog.com/DogTricks/ Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Remi’s final session we started teaching her Paws Up. This fun trick is great for confidence, building rear end awareness and great for photos! Remi was quite hesitant of the pod at first but with the help of treats we were able to lure her up onto the pod. As the session progressed she became more confident! Good job Remi! Focus: Foundation B

We recommend your next step should be…

C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.

X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
