|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Ralph focused on further developing his skill drop with dog distractions. We focused on this skill to build his focus around other dogs and proof his drop in a variety of environments. Today Ralph practised his drops near a young energetic puppy, he showed no interest in the puppy and focused on his trainer. Ralph responds well to the drop command but did struggle to hold duration at times. With some guidance from the trainer, he began to maintain his drop well. We would recommend practising his drop at home focusing on building his duration (time in drop).||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his second session, Ralph focused on further developing his place skill while outside. Ralph responds well to the place cue and holds good duration. When first outside he did struggle with the added directions of being outside but with some encouragement from the trainer, he began to perform well. We would recommend challenging him at home with distractions and duration on the place.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Ralph focused on further developing his skill rollover. We focused on this skill to build his problem-solving skills and confidence in being in this position. Ralph does struggle to perform this skill, he can become a little confused and stand up. However with some help from the trainer he successfully rolled over.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
