It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For her first session we worked on drops outside around Tycho (who was playing) due to Poppy being distracted this morning. Poppy did struggle to go into drops if even a little distracted by Tycho. Her duration wasn't bad but she does need to work on her distraction level. If not distracted by another dog and focused on the trainer she did really well. Next time we'd like to continue working on her drops around other dogs when in the carpark to help with her drop off's and pick ups. At home practice her drops in distracting environments (at a level she can still listen) to help strengthen this skill. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her second session we worked on Poppy's loose lead session outside. We started on the pavement which Poppy did quite well with after a minute or so of some pulling. After that we moved onto the grassed area - Popoy was much more distracted and pulled a lot when around the trees. It did take quite a few laps for her to start focusing on the trainer again. The last 5 minutes were really good though - she didn't pull and walked really nicely next to the trainer. Next time we'd like to have Poppy more engaged with the trainer. At home work on walks in low distraction outside environments to help with her focus. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For her last session we continued work on Poppy's roll over as her trick skill for the day. Poppy did struggle with this today and was a bit distracted by other dogs in the room so we spent majority of the time with her working on drop duration to help condition her around the other dogs. She did whine a bit but held her duration well. Next time we'd like to see her go back to at least one or two roll-overs in a session so we can continue training it for her. At home keep working on encouraging her to go over onto her back. Focus: Duration B
