Poppy's Doggy Dayschool Report

2023-09-22

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Ring a Bell Comment: Poppy revisited her ring bell skill in the classroom. She was distracted at first by the other dogs but after a bit of repetition she focused on the trainer. Poppy tried to test the trainer, pretending she didn't know the skill. We got her to consistently ring the bell, before adding in some other skulls such as drop that we chained with the bell. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We went outside to work on poppy's loose lead and drops around Leena. Leena was on place nearby as we walked back and forward. Poppy paid little attention to Leena as we worked, work all her engagement being on her trainer. We practiced some drops along the way aswell, with Poppy quickly going down into the skill when asked. Focus: Conditioning A
Skill learnt: Crate Training Comment: Poppy had some fun working on more trick training in the classroom working on putting a ball into a basket. We did some shaping to get her to pick up the ball and start dropping it closer and closer to the basket. By the end of the lesson she was dropping the ball next to the basket, making contact with it but not quite putting it in. Focus: Foundation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
