|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her first session, Poppy focused on further developing her skill 'drop' at a distance under distractions (training outside). We focused on this skill to continuing to proof Poppys drop under distractions. Poppy performed very well, she continued to drop despite being at liberty on a long line. Poppy showed great engagement, ignoring all distractions which challenged her, and is smashing her drops. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distance||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In her second session, Poppy focused on learning the new skill 'roll over with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to challenge Poppy with learning a new skill and to help her achieve her trick title. Poppy performed well, she is hesitant to roll over onto her back, but with some guidance she slowly began to follow the lure and roll over. Next time we would like to see Poppy show more confidence surrounding roll over. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home to help build her confidence surrounding roll over.||Focus: Foundation||C|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In her final session, Poppy focused on learning the new skill 'kisses' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to help her achieve her trick title. Poppy performed very well, the trainer used to target to help Poppy understand where to touch, she quickly began to give the trainer ‘kisses’. Poppy can become distracted while working on this skill, but with some guidance she redirects her focus quickly. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
