Poppy had such a great day today!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Poppy started this session with manners. She was required to settle and not barge through doors when the trainer approached. She quickly settled and we focused on loose lead with sporadic drops. She did really well with this and maintained focus in the carpark, cattery and busy classroom. She did break or ignore the command when approaching trainers but she quickly recovered from this.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: We challenged Poppy with chaining skills today! We had some fun with place in the shell pool, middles, drop and recall! By the end of the session she was doing all in a chain with only one reward at the end. The trainer was really proud of her when dogs walked past and she maintained focus on the skill. Well done Poppy!||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: We finished up with something fun so we revisited the skateboard. She understands the skill but lack distance and duration. So the focus was getting her to ride it a longer distance as she would hop on it, move it a little and get off. She progressed well and we utilised her release word when she was allowed off the skateboard.||Focus: Duration||C+|
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
