Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session one with Poppy we started with the skill emergency drops. Poppy did very well at this skill! To begin with her drops were a little slow although as the session went on poppy gained amazing engagement and had great duration in her drops. Focus: Distraction A+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Session two with Poppy we practiced her skill of middles. The trainer had the whole classroom with Poppy to practice this skill. So the trainer used great distance to test her skill, Poppy did amazing! She completed the skill every time she was asked! Poppy did so well the trainer was impressed! The next step for this skill would be moving to a higher distraction environment to test and practice her skill further. Focus: Repetition A+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session three with Poppy we practiced her new skill of walking backwards. This session the trainer focused on practicing and getting her backwards walking smooth. Poppy follows a lure and walks backwards most of the time although when she gets tired she doesn’t do as good. The trainer increased the rewards which lifted Poppy’s spirits and the session was continued. Focus: Repetition B+

We recommend your next step should be…
