2022-05-03

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Our first session focused on Poppy's behind skill. She has come a long way with this skill and we have now started to implement it with dog distractions. If walking Poppy and another dog gets too close we have been saying 'behind' and stopping. Poppy did very well with this, even as the dog distraction was reacting, poppy still listened to the command. We ended the session with a good play and cuddle to further reinforce her performance. Well done Poppy! Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Poppy was quieter than usual today so we worked on her duration of sit pretty for this skill. Poppy's focus was distributed by a few other noisy dogs in the classroom but she did well recovering her focus. Poppy has a good understanding of sit pretty but can not hold it. Please focus on duration in the skill at home. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Wagon pull was Poppy's last session of the day and she loved it!! She was great at grabbing the rope handle but it still learning to pull it along. This would be a very cute trick to learn properly (and maybe with cookie in the wagon!). Focus: Foundation B

We recommend your next step should be…
