Poppy's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Poppys first session we worked on her drops outside around Leena. Poppy was a bit cheeky with her drops to start and unengaged with her trainer (sniffing around and trying to go in the fountain). She showed little interest in Leena and we were able to decrease the distance between the two, rewarding Poppy each time Leena walked past. Although she was slow to drop, once in her drop Poppy held her duration well. Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: In Poppy’s second session we worked on her middles. We worked in the classroom around Leena to continue conditioning them being around each other. Poppy again showed little interest in Leena and was quite calm around her. She was very cheeky with her middles and reluctant to go into position from the verbal cue alone. After some lured repetitions she began responding to the verbal a bit better. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Final session Poppy worked on some hold. She was a bit distracted initially but quickly began mouthing the object. As the session progressed she began to hold with more firmness and for longer. The trainer still held onto it as some extra support but as she begins to hold the object with more firmness we can begin letting go of the object. Focus: Duration C+

We recommend your next step should be…
