Pippy Dooooo's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: This session worked on her TNT explosion (paws up). We found that the handle spins quite a lot and she did struggle to get both feet on it before it started spinning. We helped her out and held the handle still so she could stabilise herself better. She had no problems having one foot on the box and one on the handle, so we started with this and built up to getting both feet on the handle! Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Pippy worked on her plutz/drop skill this session. To keep her back legs in tight we had her dropping between the trainers legs. This way she had to go straight down and keep her legs tucked in nicely. The trainer did notice her leg would slide out a little bit so we put a towel underneath us to stop her sliding as much and this helped. We practiced her drop to a sit to a stand so she kept her feet in place while between the trainers legs! Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Lastly the trainer had some fun teaching Pippy to clean up her toys! Pippy immediately started to nibble at the toy so we made sure to reward her for each attempt! We also put the toy inside the bucket so she had to take it out of the bucket, this helps her make a connection between the toy and bucket! Pippy had lots of fun and enjoyed the challenge today :) Focus: Foundation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
