It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Piper’s first session was loose lead walking. She did this outside with her sister as a big distraction as well as another dog running in the paddock. It did take a little bit for her to settle but once she did her engagement was fantastic. Using treats and a well structured walk helps keep Piper focus. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Next up was recalls. At the first this was done inside with another dog nearby who was very excited. Piper did well and was very focused. Outside was another matter. Piper struggled outside and more practice with less distractions is needed next time. Focus: Repetition C
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Last up was drops. The sheep were being moved in the neighbouring property, with a quad bike and a dog. The trainer took advantage of this and got Piper to practice her drops. Piper did struggle and was clearly uncomfortable in this situation. The trainer created a little more distance and this did help Piper engage more with the trainer. It was a good session for Piper with new experiences away from Bailey. Focus: Distraction C+
