What an awesome day for Piper! Well done Miss
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Piper’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer took Piper outside in the car park and Piper smashed it. Because Piper was going so well the trainer decided to take Piper near the kennel yards. This did make it harder for Piper to focus and the trainer used the yes marker and the food as a lure to help get Piper’s focus back. Going forward the goal will be to have Piper walking just as well near the yards as she does in the car park.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Piper’s next session was drop. Once again this was done up the the kennels yards. Piper was fantastic and although interested in the dogs she held her drop well. Unfortunately there was only one trainer today but it will be good to get Piper and Bailey training side by side as the trainer feels that Bailey will be Piper’s biggest distraction!||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Final session for Piper was place. Again dog distraction was there but it was the trainer movement that really made Piper break. Pretending to run away made Piper break a number of times. Going forward again it will be good to use Bailey as the distraction||Focus: Distraction||B+|
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
