2022-05-16

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: In pipers first session we trained recalls. Following from last week when she was distracted I would say the word ‘come’ then luring her up so she had to rest her head on my stomach. This teaches the dogs that the word ‘come’ means come right to you and not just next to you. She did well with this skill, we will keep practicing this and next time we will see if she can do it from a distance. Focus: Repetition A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Pipers second session we practiced her drops. We focused on getting her into a drop with out a hand signal just saying the word ‘drop’ she did really well towards the end and started listening well. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Her last session we practiced paws up. She was quite nervous of the object at first so if she sniffed it I was just rewarding her for that, then she progressed to one paw and towards the end she got both her paws on the object which was fantastic, would like to keep practicing this skill until she confident enough. Focus: Duration B
