|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session, Tycho focused on further developing his skill 'place’ within the classroom. We focused on this skill as he can struggle to hold duration when sent to the place. Tycho performed very well, he responded well to the verbal cue place and demonstrated good duration. To challenge him further the trainer began to slowly increase the surrounding distractions, including toys, balls, tugs and multiple plates of food. Tycho ignored all distractions, although he did struggle with the food. He did not break place throughout this session.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Tycho focused on moving between his sit and drop skills. Tycho performed very well, he initially required a small lure when moving from drop to sit but this was quickly faded into a hand signal. He showed great engagement and energy when moving between skills, very impressed with how far he has come. Have a look at our story to see his progress.||Focus: Obedience||B|
|Skill learnt: Stand||Comment: In his final session, Tycho focused on further developing his skill 'stand' from both sit and drop. The trainer began with a lure which was quickly faded throughout the session as he was progressing very well. The trainer began to fade the lure and introduce the verbal cue stand, while he continues to perform well.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Tycho was challenged with remaining on passive place while the trainer worked with other dogs. Tycho performed very well, he did not break place throughout this time (30 minutes).||Focus: Duration||A|
