|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Pickle’s day began with his ‘peekaboo’ skill. Pickle has great knowledge of his ‘middles’ skill and loves some treats, so it was easy for the trainer to lure him to walk while in between her legs. There were a few times where Pickle would try release himself, but with the help of his non-reward marker “ah ah”, he would reposition himself properly. Towards the end the trainer attempted to get him to walk without a lure, and although he did, he didn’t keep up as well as he would with a treat. Good work Pickle Pants!||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Pickle’s next session was focused on his ‘figure 8’ skill through the trainers legs. As he is a very smart boy it did not take him long to realise what was going on. He followed a lure wonderfully, although he was a bit chatty today. There were the odd few times he would just drop and “awooooo”, but with “ah ah” he would get back in sync. We want Pickle to keep progressing in this skill so we are able to slowly fade the lure!||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Pickle finished of his day with his ‘bubbles’ trick. He is doing really well with this, always blowing bubbles when told. Today he was being cheeky and would often just stick his nose in, not blowing bubbles. With the use of “ah ah” he would try again and do it properly. We want to keep pushing him to blow for a bit longer, he was only blowing little bubbles today but has performed for longer previously. None the less him and his wet snout were adorable, lovely efforts Pickle!||Focus: Duration||B+|
