Pickle's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For Pickles first session we worked on his loose lead walking. This skill is important as it allows for walking without pulling aswell as testing their impulse control. Pickle did really well throughout this session and only got distracted a few times. When he did get distracted, the trainer would turn away from the distraction and continue walking away. The next step for Pickle will be to continue increasing his distractions. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Pickles second session we worked on his place skill, specifically duration. To begin with Pickle was stepping off place often however with the use of ‘Uh Uh’ and being put back onto place he quickly learnt that he had to remain on place until release. The trainer was even able to play with a tug toy by the end of the session while he remained on place. The next step for Pickle will be to continue working on his place duration with high distractions. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: The last session consisted of Pickles skateboard skill. This skill allows them to concentrate and increases confidence. Pickle did extremely well with this skill and was able to push the skateboard a distance of 2m. The next step for Pickle will be to continue increasing the distance. Focus: Confidence A+

We recommend your next step should be…
