|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Session one with Phoenix we started with her skill of “Drop” because of your concerns on her reactivity we practiced this skill outside the kennels. This was too high of a distraction for where She is up to in her skill so the trainer had to take it back a step and practice outside but only where she could hear the dogs. By doing this Phoenix was more relaxed with better engagement! So far she showed no reactivity.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Session two with Phoenix we practiced her loose lead skill. Again we practiced this skill where she could hear dogs but not see them. Phoenix really struggled with this skill! He showed no engagement and only showed his loose lead when following a lure. So the trainer moved to a quiet room. Phoenix still struggled although he got a little better.||Focus: Obedience||D+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Session three with Phoenix we practiced his place skill. This session we practiced in the kennel hallway. We worked on she duration, the trainer gave frequent rewards until he was settled. Then she was released, this was repeated throughout the session. Phoenix did struggle to begin with although she did gain better engagement this session.||Focus: Obedience||C+|
