Phoenix was so ready for his training today!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: This session focused on his sit and place duration. Since the classroom was empty we were able to do this off lead, creating more distance while he held position. Phoenix did better with his place duration and distance over his sit skill. He would often break his sit position to follow the trainer so we reduced the distance and built this back up slowly. With his place skill the trainer was able to move to the opposite side of the room and move around quickly!
|Skill learnt: Middle Position
|Comment: This session we worked on his middles skill but adding more criteria. We changed the angle in which he approached for middles, getting him to go from the front and turn around, around the back and even standing side on. Changing up the angle of the approach means he has to find the quickest way into position. He still needed a treat lure to get into position but he seemed to really enjoy the challenge.
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: This last session was a bit of fun. Since Phoenix doesn’t seem to keen on biting things with his mouth, we opted for a new skill. Teaching him to nudge the soccer ball - the end product is to have him nudge it through some goals or to simply pass the ball between you and him. This session simply focused on just getting him to nudge the ball in any direction. He picked this up so quickly and really seemed to enjoy it, see how far you can get him to nudge the ball at home.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
