|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Penny was excited to get into training but this encouraged some lunging and pulling on lead so this was focused on first. Once a little more settled the trainer was very impressed with Penny's loose lead! She was focused on the trainer and walked nicely around the facility with dog and people distractions. Although she was a little big zig zaggy her overall engagement was good considering it was a new walking route. The trainer further tested this by doing random stops and turns which she responded well too. This session she was taking treats on and off.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: We battled the Obstacle Course for this session and WOW she absolutely loved it! Her first few rounds were a bit slow as she was developing confidence throughout the obstacles but towards the end was zooming through, running with the trainer. She was a little confused with going through the tyre but overall did a great job.||Focus: Confidence||B+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: For her last session the trainer worked on both her recall and fetch skill. Penny's motivator was physical praise (cuddles) therefore the trainer would throw the ball and when she had it would call her back (very enthusiastically). She dropped the ball and happily accepted the cuddles. The trainer did this a few times before she stopped chasing the ball so the trainer worked on engagement outside.||Focus: Obedience||C+|
