Otis's Doggy Dayschool Report

2021-07-13

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For his first session we worked on sending to place and distractions. He was a bit distracted at the start and wasn’t very engaged but quickly got the hang of it. He could be sent to place from the end of the lead but sometimes broke position. However he only did this a couple times and by the end of the session he was in the swing of it. This could be further improved with repetition and distractions. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For his second session today we worked on applying a bandage to his leg whilst in a drop position. We did this so he could get used to people touching his legs and so he is used to the sensation. He did super well with all of it and was very calm. He also did very well with the drops with another high energy dog in the classroom. Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his last session today we worked on his loose lead and engagement outside. He was quite distracted to start with but after a couple minutes with people working next door but he quickly showed lots of engagement with the trainer. To improve this different distractions could be used, but overall he did super well today! Focus: Distraction C+

We recommend your next step should be…
