|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Engagement||Comment: Oscar was quite a happy boy heading to the classroom today. To start off with we worked on getting him used to a new trainer and building his engagement. We found that he preferred kibble over fritz so was eating during his first session which is an improvement from his last Dayschool! He did love cuddles best though! He was a bit distracted sniffing around but was able to give some moments of engagement to the trainer and take treats from them.||Focus: Confidence||X|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his second session we worked on Oscar's drop skill. Oscar shows good basics in drop and has some duration in it. We spent a few minutes building his duration and once he was good with that we moved onto trainer distractions (having the trainer move around him, jump around, crouch, etc). He broke a few times but overall did really well with this! At home practice with increasing distractions while he is in drop to help strengthen his skill.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his last session we started work on his loose lead in the classroom. Oscar was very distracted this session and did pull quite a bit. There were a few moments of engagement but this does need some more work. Once some other trainers came in with food he got super distracted so we finished off with a drop duration which he coped much better with.||Focus: Distraction||C|
