|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Orra greeted the trainers with a big smile and tail wag, she was very excited about today's adventure. For her first session, Orra focused on building on her basic knowledge of drop within the classroom. Orra showed good basic knowledge of drop and she happily followed a lure from stand into the drop. While in drop she can struggle to hold duration but progressed well throughout the session. Orra loved training this skill as there were lots of treats.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: In her second session, Orra focused on learning the new skill of paws up on a range of objects within the classroom. We focused on this skill to build her confidence and improve her balance as some of the objects move. Orra performed well, she was initially hesitant to interact with the objects but with some guidance and treats she began to place her paws onto the upturned bucket. As she was progressing so well the trainer used a variety of objects including a balance cushion and wobble board. She progressed well with each object and loved exploring the different textures of each object.||Focus: Confidence||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In her final session, Orra focused on further developing her skill loose lead walking around the Pet retreat facility while Opal was nearby. Orra was initially distracted by Opal, however, she quickly redirected her focus. Once engaged Orra showed great engagement, the trainer used her skill, sit and drop to help keep her engagement.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
