2021-11-26

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For session one with Opel we practiced the skill loose lead outside. Opal did very well and had great engagement with the trainer. The trainer rewarded opal for looking up and checking in while walking. By doing this Opal engaged with the trainer and proceeded to walk with a loose lead, the trainer started asking for sits and drops in between to change it up. The trainer was very impressed for this being his first session! The next step for this skill would be adding higher distractions. Focus: Foundation A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For session two with opal we practiced the skill drop in the classroom. The trainer used fritz as a lure into a drop. Opal very fast understood the skill and dropped every time he was asked. So for the rest of the session the trainer decreased the lure. Focus: Foundation A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For session three with opal we practiced the skill paws up. This skill can be great for both his confidence and his balance. The trainer used different materials including stepping stools, inflatable pods and wobble boards. Opal did very well and had high engagement with the trainer throughout the session. Focus: Confidence A
