2023-11-21

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: (Weave) For her first session the trainer set up a small obstacle course for Opal on the classroom including some jumping, crawling, spinning and weaving and involved in the course! This was done to not only motivate her through the day but also work on her ability to follow commands that have been chained together. She smashed 95% of the course today easily being able to jump, crawl and spin but she did have a little trouble with her weave, so this was focused on for the last little bit of the session. All in all a great first session. Focus: Conditioning B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: (Parkour) Got her second session the trainer worked on her parkour skills! She has been making some really great strides with this in recent sessions but today she really did well! As you can see from her social video not only did she jump consistently on the wall today on a pretty impressive angle she was actually jumping into the wall run and jumping out of it! She was also hitting bigger heights on the wall which was great! With a little more training Opal could probably be a contestant in the dog sport fly ball! This was a great second session today and the trainer had a fantastic time with her. Focus: Distance B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: (Army crawl) For her last session the trainer wanted to continue the fun but wanted to start a new skill as well. And so the trainer worked on her crawl ability. To start her off for the most success the trainer set up a barrier system set up to keep Opal close to the ground. This was 4 buckets with a place bed balanced on top! The trainer then lured Opal through underneath the place bed with a good reward. Initially she needed a little trail of treats however being the quick learner she is Opal was able to start following a single lure under the bed and was almost running under the bed! Eventually the trainer will remove the place bed having Opal crawl on the floor on her own! Focus: Repetition A+

We recommend your next step should be…
