Opal's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Opal started with her place skill, going back to basics with a new trainer. Opal was happy to hop on to place but had a more challenging time staying on the place. With some repetition, opal started to wait until her release word, stepping off periodically but staying on the majority of the time. Focus: Desensitisation B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Opal continued her training in the classroom with her middles skill, starting with a lure to learn to do the skill with a new person. As we continued working together, opal started to go into the skill with just her hand signal and verbal, being lazy sometimes not wanting to go the full distance herself but understanding that the skill applies with the new person as well Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Opal finished with her sit pretty skill, focusing on Duration in the skill. Opal happily followed a hand lure into the skill. We started to build up the time in the skill, starting at a few seconds, before managing to get her to stay for up to 6 seconds at a time. Opal was also happy for cuddles this lesson, happily backing into her trainer for butt scratches. Focus: Foundation C+
