Ollie had lots of fun today, he really showed off his skills.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: We worked on his drop duration this session, getting him to hold the position while the trainer moved to the other side of the classroom. He did really well with this but did break position the first couple times, so we found the distance he could cope with and worked from there, gradually adding more distance as we went. Ollie was a bit distracted by all the nosies outside the classroom but still performed his skills.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: We did a similar thing this session but with place, really creating that distance while he remains in position. We found that we couldn't get quite as far as we did with his drops so again, we found that sweet spot and built from there. He has great understanding of his obedience skills so we threw in some random challenges like having the trainer lay on the floor just out of reach etc.
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: We started this session inside until Ollie was showing some good engagement with the trainer. We then moved outside into the carpark where there weren't too many distractions. Ollie did pull on the lead a couple times while outside but with some directional changes and rewarding for the desirable positioning he quickly realised what we were doing. Ollie did really well today!
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
