|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Ollie focused on further developing his emergency drop while outside in the carpark. We focused on this skill to further his understanding and increase his speed going into the position. Ollie responds well to the drop command but is quite slow with his emergency drops. Today the trainer went back to basics and used a low hand signal almost to the ground to guide him into position while the trainer continued to walk. While doing this he moved into the drop position much quicker. As the session progressed the trainer began to fade the hand signal again while he continued to perform well. We would recommend spending some time fading the hand signal to ensure he is performing well and understands the skill.||Focus: Back to Basics||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, the trainer was going to work on bang outside with a towel, quickly into this session they determined that Ollie loves to chase, plays and eat the towel. The focus of this session shifted to drop duration under towel distractions. Ollie quickly broke his drop when the trainer started to move the towel. With help from the trainer and taking it slowly, he began to maintain his drop while the towel was moving around him.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In his final session, Ollie focused on further developing his recall within the classroom, continuing to condition the recall command come. We focused on this to continue building his association between high-value rewards and return to the trainer. Ollie performed well, he quickly turns back to the trainer when the command is spoken, he can get distracted and require some extra help but he progressed well throughout the session.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
