Ollie had a fun day with a new trainer as he went over some trick skills as well as his place.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Door Manners
|Comment: Ollie started his day going over his door manners in the way down to the classroom, making him go into a sit and waiting untill his break marker before making his way through. Ollie started trying to barge his way through but after some repetition work each doorway on the way down he was waiting more often. Once in the classroom we went over Ollie's place skill with dog distraction. Ollie stepped off a few times early but stayed on consistently.
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: We revisited Ollie's weave skill using a treat to lure him through our legs. His engagement was a bit low at the start of this lesson so we practiced getting his engagement to follow the treat. Once he was following the lure we used it to get him to go through our legs in a figure 8 before rewarding him with a treat. It took him a bit of repetition to understand but once he did he quickly followed the treat through each leg.
|Skill learnt: Middle Position
|Comment: Ollie finished his day with his middle skills. Ollie was a bit hesitant to go through his trainer’s legs at first but after some repetition we were able to get Ollie comfortable quickly making his way through. We used a treat to lure Ollie into position in a sit between our legs. Ollie needed a bit of help into the sit at first but by the end of the lesson he was happily going into the drop between our legs.
|Focus: Back to Basics

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
