Ollie was such a good boy today. He showed off his skills and also enjoyed a paddle in the pool to cool down.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Middle Position
|Comment: This session was all about his middles, practicing lots of quick repetition. We worked from lots of different angles to test him. We noticed he struggled going from the back, as he would go all the way through and just sit in front of us. So we went back to basics a couple times to help him out. He did well overall, increasing duration and adding some movement while in position.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: This session was all about his cafe training. We used a towel for “place.” We practiced a few repetitions on and off the towel to help him figure it out. Once he did we increased duration and sat down next to him, occasionally throwing a treat his way. We also had some staff walk past us - imitating a real cafe. He did well but did get a bit excitable, to help him out we reset him and increased reward frequency when there was more challenges.
|Skill learnt: Play
|Comment: This session was all about some play with the tug and his drop skills. Ollie was super engaged this session, working only for the tug as reward! We made sure to have frequent breaks and a paddle in the pool since it was quite warm. He listened each time the trainer said “out,” some attempts slower than others. He did really well, keep practicing - he finds high value in this game.

D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
