|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: Session one with Ollie we practiced his skill of Paws up. The trainer began with this skill to gain his engagement. Ollie was very confident showing paws up on each item asked. The trainer used different stools, pods and even a skateboard! Ollie had high engagement and was very eager to try paws up on the skateboard. The paws up on the skateboard could progress into skating! Ollie did very well for session one.||Focus: Manners||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For session two with Ollie we practiced his skill of “Drops” practicing around distractions. Ollie did have have high engagement to begin with although he did start to get distracted towards the end of the session. Ollie was asked to preform drops around other dogs and people which is a high distraction for him. Ollie does hold his drop once in the position although his drops are a little slow which can be worked on.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Crate Training||Comment: Session three with Ollie we practiced his skill of “Crate”. The trainer practiced sending him to and from the crate with rewards. To begin with Ollie didn’t want to enter the crate, the rewards were increased and Ollie started getting more confident and preformed this skill with no problem. Towards the end of the session the trainer would say “Crate” and Ollie would go straight in and stay until released which is great to see!||Focus: Repetition||A+|
