Ollie handled today's heat well and maintained his engagement from start to finish. He very much enjoyed the pool in the classroom

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For Ollies first session we worked on paws up as requested by his parents. Ollie performed paws up on a whole bunch of different surfaces. Once Ollie had done some repetitions of different objects we worked on olliea duration and release. Ollie did quite well but definitely needs to be worked on with implied duration. To work on this it might be easier to go back to basics and begin on easier targets and work on releasing him before he hits his limit. Keep duration short to begin with and work on releasing him.||Focus: Duration||C|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For Ollies second session we worked with Ollie with the class skateboard. This trick is not only really fun but also a good way to help solidify Ollies duration with the paws up command. Ollie is a clever kid and he seemed to really enjoy this session however did get a little over excited with a treat lure and struggled to hold his duration towards the end of the session. Practice makes perfect!||Focus: Repetition||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For Ollies final shessio we worked on his drops and duration. It was getting quite hot by this stage and I wanted to do a session that could be a little less demanding. We also completed a few leg weaves during this session and wow this boy catches on quick. Ollie was good with his implied duration with his drops, although we kept it quite short to allow him to stay focused. Overall implied duration can be worked on with a lot of different skills, Drops is beneficial for daily life and i would suggest working on them in your daily life to really advance Ollies knowledge of the skill.||Focus: Repetition||B|
