|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In ollies first session today we trained lose lead walking outside, as soon as he saw I had food he knew exactly what to do. He was fantastic and his engagement was spot on pretty much the whole session. Next level I’d like to add something to it maybe drop or spin to mix his training up abit.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In Ollies second session today we trained recall outside with a ball. This skill helps when having him at a dog park and wanting him to come to you, and teaches them that they have to listen to you no matter what. What we do is call his name then when he’s half way to you say “come”. He did pretty well with this skill a car drove up the drive way and he ran and was barking at it, but as soon as I said Ollie, come he ran straight to me.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In ollies last session we trained crawl, because he knows most other tricks teaching him crawl is something different and fun. He didn’t do to bad with this skill because he is new to this skill and it does confuse dogs quite a bit he did do pretty well. In his next level I’d still like to work on this with him.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
