Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: For our first session with Ollie, we worked on his recall. We started on a short lead to strengthen his engagement, before then moving into one of the play pens to increase distractions and distance. He demonstrated good recall when given his cue, however, was sometimes distracted by surrounding smells. Overall, he did well. Continue with higher level distractions and repetition at home. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Play Comment: Our second session focused on Ollie’s impulse control with a tug toy, surrounded by various noise distractions. He was able to demonstrate this skill well, leaving the tug toy when commanded “out.” His ability to control his impulse is constantly improving with repetition and gradual increase of distractions. Keep practicing! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: The last session with Ollie worked on our cafe training through his drop skill. We setup a cafe like environment and cued Ollie to a drop position next to the table. With various distractions such as noises, smells and the sight of other people and dogs, Ollie held his duration of a solid drop quite well. Continue to practice exposing Ollie to more distracting environments to gradually improve his ability to settle Focus: Distraction B
