Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: To help Ollie conquer the world he needs to learn to accept other people within the environment. As such he had a new trainer today. The trainer spent many short sessions with Ollie, sitting outside throwing treats in. Ollie was growling and barking at times but as the day continued Ollie was more accepting of the trainer being near him. At times he was taking treats from the trainer’s hand. The trainer who spent time with Ollie last Dayschool came and spent a little time as well and Ollie clearly has built the connection with her. So the aim is now to build that connection with other people and be able to enter the kennel with Ollie. By the end of the day the trainer was able get Ollie to sit numerous times and opened the gate while Ollie was a little distance away. The trainer didn’t want to push Ollie but it was a great start with a new trainer. Looking forward to him attending again to continue to build a relationship with him. Focus: Conditioning C+
