|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In Odin’s first session we trained charging the ‘yes’ marker. With this skill the reward marker is yes so when we have this charged we can start training more skills, having this charged helps with training and know when there doing something right. We had another dog in training so he was very excited but did so well. Next session we will start adding more skills to him.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his second session we trained ‘place’ with duration, this skill helps them learn to relax and for them to keep calm even with all the distractions. Our goal is to send him to place from a distance and for him to stay on place even if you have people over. He did so well with this skill he would lay down straight away on place. Next session I would still like to work on this with him and focusing on duration and distance as his duration is included.||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In Odin’s last session we trained drop, this skill is one of the basics we like to train this skill is a good skill to teach dogs because you have full control of them when there in the drop and it’s great when taking them out for walks and not wanting him to go up to certain dogs. He still at a basic level with his drops as in saying drop and pointing all the way to the floor. He did really well with this skill we’re practicing his duration in the skill. Next session I would like to work on this more with him until we are able to walk all the way around him and outside as well.||Focus: Duration||B|
