Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: The first session Newman did a bit of a mix up of all his skills, as the trainer wanted to see how much he was remembering. His middle skill he is only just learning and did so well. And his spin skill is progressing well, that the trainer is starting to fade out the lure. He still doesn't like the "thinking" tricks like Elaine does. So it was still a no go for ring the bell! Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: The trainer introduced a new skill for Newman and it was bow. This is a fun skill for Newman to learn and easy for him to pick up. The trainer lured him with food into a bow position and rewarded. The trainer used repetition with this new skill and Newman was fantastic. Next steps will be to had a verbal cue and physical cue. Newman really engaged with this training session and the trainer had lots of fun and laughs with him. Focus: Repetition D+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Because Newman was doing so well with the new bow skill, the learning was continued in the third session. It was all about repetition and again Newmam Focus: Repetition A+
