|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Myah first session we trained drop, took awhile for her to do it but with some correction she would listen, still has work to do in her drops. Myah doesn’t know her drops well did take her awhile for her to listen but towards the end she knew what to do. Next session I would definitely work on this one with her. Training this at home will help her skills progress and will help the trainers out as well. Put her on her lead and say “drop” if she drops reward with “yes” and food, if your having trouble putting her in a drop, lure her nose to the floor.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Myahs second session we trained around, this is a good recall skin. Training this helps with there engagement on you and not the distractions going on around you. Myah was distracted at first but as the session progressed she knew exactly what to do, the whole way through the session we did some luring around the cone and back to place. Next session I would like to work on this till she understands what to do and maybe do less luring. Training this at home is something fun for you and your dog and for you to gain more connection with her, have her on a lead and put her on a bed then have something either a meter away from the bed where she can walk around, lure her nose of off her bed and around the cone, once she’s done it and is back on the bed say “yes” and reward her with food.||Focus: Distance||B|
