Mya was a bit of a cheeky girl today and took a little while to go back to her usual level of obedience. She did make some good progress and was able to work on some of her manners.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her first session we worked on loose lead in the classroom. Mya was pulling a lot when walking from the kennels to the classroom and a bit at the start of the session. After a minute or two she started to settle and followed the trainer better. She did jump for some of the treats so we focused on having her stay low when taking treats. Her focus by the end was very good though she got a bit distracted by tennis balls on the ground. Keep working on building up her distraction level and continue giving her treats frequently to keep her focused.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her second session we worked on Mya's drop skill. Mya was very cheeky this session and wouldn't hold much duration in her drop, particularly at the start of the session. We spent most of the session going over her drops again with duration and having the trainer walking several steps away and around her. For the last few minutes we worked on greetings- she did well for a few of them but would jump up as soon as any energy was used. Continue working on duration and increasing levels of distractions with her drops at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her last session we worked on door manners as this is something she had struggled with leaving the kennels. With her sit Mya did struggle a bit at the start but as the session progressed she started holding her sit well while the door was opened. She was much better in her drop skill and rarely broke for the door. Continue having her use her manners around the house as implementing rules now will help as she gets bigger.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
