|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Motley focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' outside. Motley was initially distracted by the outside environment, the trainer decreased the environment distractions, by moving to a lower distraction area (concreate floor and low noise). In this area he continued to show little engagement until the trainer began to introduce his known skill spin. When completing skills such as spin and drop he redirects his focus well, however he does struggle to hold engagement.||Focus: Foundation||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Motley focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with duration and repetitions. Motley struggled to respond to the verbal cue drop and hold duration. The trainer went back to basics and lured him into the correct position, he followed a lure well and began to maintain his duration. As the session progresses the lure was slowly faded.||Focus: Back to Basics||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Motley focused on further developing his skill 'place' with distance and distractions. Motley responds well to the verbal cue 'place' within close proximity to the bed, once we begin to create distance he can struggle. The trainer slowly began to increase the distance one step at a time. He slowly progresses though the session.||Focus: Distance||B|
