|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Motley focused on building engagement within the classroom while working on his skill loose lead. We focused on this as Motley was initially distracted and showed little engagement (two dogs training in the classroom) and displayed challenging behaviours of pulling on the lead. The trainer used a lure and his skill spin to help redirect his, as the session progressed, he slowly showed more engagement with his trainer. Utilizing his skill spin kept his brain busy and focused so he could ignore other distractions.||Focus: Back to Basics||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Motley focused on further developing his skill drop within the classroom. We focused on this skill as the trainer have noticed he has been struggling with his drops recently. Initially Motley did not respond to the verbal cue drop or the hand signal. The trainer went back to basics and lure him into position, once in drop he initially struggled with duration but progressed well thought the session.||Focus: Back to Basics||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Motley focused on learning the new skill roll over within the classroom. Motley was distracted by the classroom environment and struggled to engage with her trainer. As the session progressed, he began to follow a lure onto his back, he did struggle to go all the way over. This would be a great skill to practice at home.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
