2022-07-08

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Montana started her day practicing her ‘drop’ skill, utilising the empty classroom to push her with some added distractions. She was very skeptical of the scooter and broke a few times initially once it began moving. After a few reps and using her non-reward marker “ah ah”, Montana grew to withstand this odd distraction and remained in a drop beautifully while the trainer scooted around her. Keep pushing her drop skill at home to help strengthen it! She is doing really well! Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Next up, Montana revisited her ‘jump through a hoop’ trick and she did really well! She had heaps more confidence and the trainer was even able to raise the hoop so she lifted her feet some more! As she was doing awesome, the trainer continued using the hoop, but chained it with her ‘place training’ (mat) skill. The trainer would simply ask for Montana to go to mat, but go through the hoop in order to get there. She did it perfectly. Keep on pushing her at home and practice chaining different skills, she is a smart girl to do so! Focus: Repetition A
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: To finish up, Montana worked on her ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom with doggo distractions. She did really good! 90% of the time her Engagement was on the trainer and she was easily called back in if she got too distracted. Keep practicing at home and increasing her distractions. Great job today, Montana! Focus: Distraction B+
