Molly was a bit nervous today, so we mainly focused on conditioning her to the classroom again.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Today Molly started with her ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom with dog distractions. Molly was a little nervous, but she came around after a few minutes and performed some nice drops when she was told. Molly’s biggest challenge was to not let Cadbury distract her during this session. After a few “ah ahs” she got the memo and engaged with the trainer for the remainder of her session. We want Molly to keep progressing with her loose lead so she is able to be focused, no matter what her environment is like.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Spin||Comment: Next up, Molly revisited her ‘spin’ trick. Again, Molly was still very nervous distracted so she did not perform to the best of her ability. While we still attempted to get her to spin, we also focused on conditioning her to the classroom again with all the new distractions and she then managed to perform 2 little spins!! In the future we want for Molly to be more comfortable with her surroundings so she can train better!||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For Molly’s final session, we tried to get her to do her ‘paws up’ skill, but she was still pretty nervous and distracted, so we struggled to get her to engage. Instead of pushing her, we ended her day on a good note and purely focused on conditioning her to the classroom with plenty of love, treats and reassurance. Molly is such a sweet girl, we would just love to be able to get her to engage a bit more!||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
