Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her first session, Molly focused on further developing her place skill around other dogs. Molly was very excitable at the beginning of this session, she jumped straight onto the bed when guided by the trainer. She can struggle with her duration, this is expected as she is still learning the skill. As the session progressed she began to hold longer duration despite the distracting environment. Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In her second session, Molly focused on further developing her skill drop within the busy classroom. We focused on this skill to build her understanding of the skill and duration in position. Molly performed well, she quickly follows a lure into the drop position, and she does spring straight back up to a stand. But with some help from the trainer, she began to hold her drop for longer. She successfully remained in drop for 10 seconds. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: In her final session, Molly focused on building confidence around different objects including going through hula hoops and tunnels. Molly was initially a little wary of both objects and needed some encouragement to interact with them, but once over this initial uncertainty, she had a ball. She loved going through the tunnels. Focus: Confidence A
