Molly was very excited for her training today she also was having a ball outside in the kennels when I went to get her!!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In Molly’s first session we trained recall with a ball. We tried to go outside but as soon as I took her of the lead she wouldn’t come back. So we went back into the training shed and would throw the ball for her and then when she was nearly at my feet I would say ‘come’ that way you know she’s not running anywhere else but to you, and she will associate the word ‘come’ to tuning towards you. She did well inside every time I called her name and say come she would come to me. Think she needs more work on this inside then hopefully get her outside.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her second session we trained drops, we lured her into the drop and we’re concentrating on duration so at the start I was sitting on the floor with her feeding her treats, then I slowed down the treats. Would release her, then try to stand up while she was on the drop, I was able to stand half way up. In her next level I’d like to work on this more as it is a controlled position and because she’s such an energetic dog.||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Molly’s last session we trained place, I thought she could benefit from the skill place because it is a self sooth skill. We were practicing her duration on the bed after awhile I think she had enough as she wasn’t taking food, the weather outside was pretty wild and lots of gum nuts and twigs dropping on the roof so I think she was quite wary of that as well. In her next level I’d like to work on this more with her helping her to self sooth in any type of environments.||Focus: Duration||B|
