|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: Molly’s first session was to be recalls, however Molly was so distracted that the trainer went back to the classroom to work on engagement. Molly played some engagement games and really started to focus on the trainer.||Focus: Repetition||X|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: The next session for Molly was loose lead walking and sits. As she was very distracted outside the trainer worked with Molly inside. As the session progressed Molly really started to engage with the trainer. Sits were introduced and at first Molly struggled to sit at first and hold the position. Again Molly progressed well and was sitting when asked and holding that sit for longer. Next time it will be great to see Molly sitting straight away when asked and to loose lead walk without pulling when outside.||Focus: Repetition||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Final session for Molly was drop. The trainer decided to do this to help Molly focus and further develop a skill that can be used when she is distracted by toys etc. Molly didn’t appear to know drop. At first the trainer used food to lure Molly into position. When Molly started to understand what she needed to do the trainer worked on Molly holding the position longer. For future training the trainer would like to work on this skill more with Molly.||Focus: Duration||D+|
