Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For mojos first session today we worked on his skateboard skill! To start with he was super confident and went straight on pushing it a couple minutes but after that he started to become more hesitant of the movement which is strange. To help with this we switched back to normal paws up on the skateboard and only moving it slightly backwards and forwards. He did get a little better towards the end but still seemed hesitant, although he was super confident at the start! Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Mojo’s second session today focused on his hanky pull skill. We started by holding the hanky in front of him, getting him to pull it out of our hand. He did well with this so we put the hanky in a cone having some of it poking out the top. This stumped Mojo so we had to go back to basics and show him the hanky, once he figured this out he did much better but still needs some help pulling it out the cone! Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For his last session today Mojo worked on paws up but getting his back legs to move around. To do this we got him to do normal paws up and then used our leg to push his back end around. This way he moves away from us but keeps his front feet on the pod, this helps him build coordination in his back legs and also helps with confidence. He did really well but was quite slow, keep working on this so he can get quicker and quicker. Focus: Confidence B
