Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For Mojo’s first session today we worked on his paws up skill with four different pods. He did better with this since last time and was much quicker to get figure out his legs. He still struggled to get his last back leg onto the pod. To work on this we just set up two pods and got him to walk over them so he could get used to the feeling of using all his legs and coordinating them. He did well with this and will eventually realise how to balance with his back legs. Focus: Repetition A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his second session today we worked on his bow. He did really well with this today! We didn’t even need to use a raised platform to keep his bum in the air. A couple times he went into a full drop position so we just released him and started again. We were still using a lure so we haven’t introduced a label yet. He is almost at the point where this will be possible. To work on it further it just needs practice and lots of repetition. Focus: Repetition A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For Mojo’s last session today we worked on Freya’s card. He was very excited when we tried to do this and was such a wriggle pot. After a while we were able to successfully dip his feet in some paint and make a beautiful card! Focus: Conditioning A+
