Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Mr Mojo began his day practicing his ‘skateboard’ skill again, still focusing on getting him to push himself with 2 paws on the board. He did EXCELLENT! The trainer did have to help steady the board a bit for him today but by doing so he was able to have both paws on at all times. If he was to take 1 paw off, the trainer would use his non-reward marker “ah ah”, and he would quickly fix this and continue. The trainer found it helped him to push himself if they pushed his back end ever so lightly and left their hand there for support. Keep pushing this skill at home! If you are still struggling to get them to go near the board at home and have tried different environments, let us know! Awesome job, Mojo! Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Next up, Mojo worked on his ‘paws up’ skill, this time using our new wobble board to help build his confidence even more. Mojo was so good! He did not even hesitate and got both paws on straight away! YAY! The trainer attempted to lure him far enough on for his hind legs to also step up, but he would get a little freaked out and hop off. The end goal for Mojo is to fully hop on and maybe even sit on it and learn to get some balance! So so proud! Focus: Confidence B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: To finish off the day, Mojo worked on both his ‘hanky pull’ trick and his ‘touch’ skill, just to mix it up a little for him! His hanky pull skill is amazing and improves each time! He was able to pull for longer if the trainer held it there after a small tug, rather than rewarding him. He was able to pull it till the length was approximately a 30cm! AWESOME! Since he was doing so well, the trainer switched up to touch using a target stick, focusing on increasing the distance. Mojo again did fantastic. No matter the angle or distance he made sure to get his nose on it! Keep practicing at home though so his foundation stays super strong! Focus: Distance A+
