Mr Mojo did so well today! His confidence with both his skateboard and paws up is continuing to grow very nicely!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: To start off, Mojo worked on his skateboard trick and he did amazing at first! He was on and zooming, pushing himself with his 2 front paws on and all! As soon as the trainer got the camera out to film, he got shy and went back a few steps! Keep practicing at home and give him a little boost on the board when needed. If you are still struggling to get him on it, just work on his confidence with plenty of treats and love around it.||Focus: Confidence||B|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: Next up, Mojo continued to work on his ‘paws up’ skill, focusing on getting him to put all 4 paws on the new wobble board. For the first half of the session Mojo was able to comfortably put 2 paws on, but struggled to get a 3rd or 4th. Towards the end Mojo was able to get a 3rd paw on!! Although shaky and not as confident, we are slowly getting there which is awesome! Our end goal for Mojo would be to get all 4 paws on and maybe even perform a sit while on it to help his confidence grow even more!||Focus: Confidence||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: To finish up, Mojo worked on a new trick ‘figure 8’. This is where the trainer stands with their legs apart and lures Mojo in and out of them in a figure 8 motion. Mojo did really well! He follows a lure beautifully and is already a pro! Since he has done so well, after a few more practices of it we can begin to fade the lure. Keep practicing this at home with a lure first though until you also become familiar with it!||Focus: Foundation||B|
