Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session one with mojo we started with his skill of skateboard. Mojo is a bit more hesitant to get on the board but still does well with a food lure. His beginning to push himself across the room with a decreased lure which is great to see. Mojo still needs more practice to become more confident in the skill before decreasing the lure further. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Session two with mojo we practiced his skill of paws up. This skill is helping mojo get more confident on the skate board and moving surfaces. This session the trainer was aiming for mojo to get all four paws on the wobble board! With many treats and conditioning Mojo managed to get the confidence to put all three paws on the pod repetitively and almost getting the forth foot on! This is improvement and great to see. Focus: Confidence A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session three with mojo we practiced his skill of roll over. Mojo still needs a strong lure but is rolling over well! This session the trainer focused on repetition and fading the lure slightly. Mojo did struggle to begin with but with some encouragement he preformed his roll over well. The next step for this skill if to continue to fade the lure and add a more distinct hand cue. Focus: Repetition A
